accessory jack: 2 pin This is an entry level vhf radio with well defined features it is very easy to use. It is splash
proof and comes complete with a waterproof bag for the radio and a hole host of very useful features like the clock feature
.It is very easy on the hands to hold and operate even with cold wet hands .

This radio is ready to use straight out of the box it comes with clear
comprehensive instructions and waterproof bag .
It is a very user friendly radio with no complicated menu’s to learn
all the buttons are clearly marked for ease of use it sits in the hand very comfortably and has a large easy to view lcd screen
which shows clear symbols and operational modes
Note the UN clustered lay-out of the control buttons
for easy use and large clear dynamic speaker
The radio is seen here in the supplied waterproof bag there is also a lanyard
attached to the bag .i found the buttons easy to use while the radio is in the bag .
This is fantastic value for money
the ease of use and stylish and practical design makes this radio very desirable .i particularly liked the clock function
and the simple spacious design of the button lay out . This vhf radio retails at £79.93 this is fantastic value for money
To operate a vhf marine radio legally you require a certificate
of competence usually this is a 1 day course and an OFCOM portable ship licence
