This is my first impression review of this superb paddle
All the Mitchell
paddles are hand made this is reflected in the quality it’s superb And are all made here in the UK.
Firstly the official
specifications.

This
is the top of the range paddle a superbly balanced paddle which sits very comfortably in the hand the superb blade design
gives a lot of power for very little effort and the finish is second to none .

The voyager blade shape gives a lot of power for very little effort while in
use .
the overall finish is superb and a very light weight paddle with each blade showing red carbon o the inside and silver
on the reverse side .
The scoop of the voyager blade moves a lot of water at each stroke .
The strong
spine gives it all the strength needed to achieve this through the water
This paddle has a cranked shaft which is very comfortable on the wrists and hands
it is designed to give maximum comfort while paddling you won’t get acking wrists after a long days paddling.
The
shaft is slightly of round which aids in grip while using the paddle
The superb varihand adjustable system
is adjustable for both length and feather so you can get it just right for you I found this easy to use even with cold wet
hands you can clearly see the well marked gauge on the shaft for setting the paddle .
The finish on this paddle is superb through-out just note how cleanly the
blade is jointed with the shaft and how neatly the blades are edged
This fantastic carbon blade with red striping in it is stunning but it’s
not just there for decoration this red piping adds a lot of extra strength to the blade.
I think Mitchell have got
this top of the range paddle just right its light weight. Very strong. Nice on the hands and wrists .and delivers total power
when used.
The varihand
adjustable system is easy to use and set the cranked shaft
is superb to use and very comfortable on the wrists the whole design of this paddle screams quality.
I found that for very
little effort the paddle delivers a lot of power. The retail of this paddle is £249.99 This is fantastic value for such a
top end paddle and worth every penny.
