This is my first impressions review of this superb range of specially
designed kayak rods from zebco
The kayak king kayak rods are a new addition for 2009 to the impressive zebco range.
There
are 4 rods in this blue range.
The rods vary in length from 0.75m to 1.00m.
And with test curves from 12oz to
1.25lbs.
The first thing you will notice is the quality these rods they are superbly made using only the finest materials
the rods are a solid glass construction with eva foam handle grips

blank gives a brilliant action to these rods
The rods have very well designed Evo foam handle grips which is both easy to clean and
comfortable on the hand while using the rods
The reel seats are a Fuji type which gives an excellent hold on the reel when it’s
locked in to place
The rings or guides are a seymo type design which are both hard wearing yet light in
weight
The rings are ideally spaced on these rods and finished with black whipping and an epoxy gloss finish
Which
makes the whole thing very strong
The tip rings are a short stand off profile again very hard wearing and well fitted
The new zebco kayak king kayak rods are a superb piece of kit these rods would
be ideally suited to jigging feather type baits.
with superb reel seat and well designed ring guides this rod should last
many seasons the nice thing about using a short rod is it does not get in the way during the days fishing is would be easy
to rig before the trip and be left rigged for the next trip because of the small size they could easily also be transported
to and from the water/
I think these rods are superbly manufactured and great value for money
