I’ve had this for 12 months now it cost about £105 so it’s
had a good test it’s been dropped and been in and out of sea water for some time as I used to keep it in my p f d pocket
so every time I when in the sea my GPS went in too and it is still works as good as the day I got it. With 500 way points
and 10,000 track points . Once you put the long and lat in to the way points you can just ask it to go to the mark and
it will show you the way to the fish You can also use it as a trip computer it will tell you how far you have gone your
max speed and average speed how long you have been on the go How long it will take to get to your mark at the speed you
are moving at . But the most important thing is that if you get in difficulty you can give the coastguard /R.N.L.I the
coordinates (latitude and longitude) saving them time when looking of you
I have put my geko on a mounting kit that is fixed to my kayak this is
so I don’t have to keep getting it out of my pocket to see my track ( if I go out as a group ) or if I go out on my
own i just unclip it off the mounting and keep it in my p f d pocket so it on me if I fall in and lost my kayak
