sand eel
one of the most commonly used fish baits
ideal for targeting rays dog fish whiting and a host of other fish
sand eels come in different sizes it is important
too match the bait too the size of hook that you are going too be using sand eel can be used on its own or part of a cocktail
sand eel can be deadly for pollock if you spin it

you require a fully thawed sand eel and a aberdeen hook

open the mouth of the eel and put the point of the hook in

run the hook right down the eel

the hook should come out two thirds of the way down

make a half hitch in the snood line and put it over the snout of
the eel or use bait elastic
