If you didn't freeze down loads of crabs at the end of the summer, then I can
suggest a good alternative bait that is aimed at Codling more than Whiting. Well, it works for me anyway!
Black/Blow
lug mixed with Mussels. A whole black lug and 2-3 mussels is a great bait
Make sure you have plenty of fine elastic!
I know Its not big but
