The Egalis kayak trolley is new on the market
and is available at brookbanks
My first impressions are that the Egalis was very light at only 3.6kg and compact
it looked to be very stable and holds up to 50kg.
I can assemble the Egalis with in one minute
As for storage the Egalis packs down to W 18cm / H 23.5cm / D 49cm so
you can pack it away in the hull of your kayak .
The two support bars have high density foam on each end this does two things
one that to foam stops you from damaging your kayak when sitting it on the Egalis and the other is that it helps to
grip the kayak when you are pulling it.
There is no need for a support leg as it will go to the up right position when
you place your kayak on the support bars then it is just a case of putting the strap on to keep the Egalis in place. There
is no messing around with trying to get bar in the scupper holes
I found that with the pneumatic tyres I can pull my prowler 15 across rough
ground with ease And we even had a fully loaded big game on it which we had to wheel over 400 yards to the car.
it can be broken down very easily and stored in the
front hatch Or you can bungee it down in the back tank well if you don’t want to strip it down.
The Egalis kayak trolley is available at brookbanks and retails
at £59.99 I think trolley is great value for money
