Werner corryvrecken paddle

padddle1.jpg

This is another of those top of the range paddles.

The bladed are asymmetric buoyant fibreglass construction the buoyancy can clearly be seen through the almost transparent look of the fibreglass this means at the end of each stroke the blade pops up out of the water and you don’t have to physically pull it up through the water the tips of the blade are reinforced with an extra lawyer of glass for strength and power.

This is a big blade and delivers a lot of power on the stroke

paddle3.jpg

The shaft is a natural bent 220 cm glass 2 piece the shaft the cranked shaft means its much more comfortable on the wrists the profile of the shaft is not round but more of a slight oval this is done to give better grip on the paddle as well as a more comfortable in the hand specially when wet

paddle4.jpg

The curvature of the blade can clearly be seen here this is again a feature of the paddle which will deliver a more powerful stroke

The patented snap lock shown in the photo is really easy to use it has a gauge marked on it so you can set the feather to your desired angle and click it in to lock it

paddle6.jpg

The overall feel of this paddle is great it feels balanced powerful and light you can clearly feel the quality of the build
